POLICY STATEMENT

HSE management of Udoka Bestman International Limited regards the promotion of occupational HSE measures of paramount importance and as a mutual objective for management, staff and communities at all level.

It is the policy of udoka Best man Int’l Ltd management to fulfill both moral and legal responsibility to ensure:

A safe place of work that will include safe means of access and agrees during normal daily work routine as well as in emergencies.

Safe plant and equipment, including the maintenance of it.

Safe system of work, including safe working practices and work permits for employee welfare. This responsibility encompasses a great many factors including: lighting, heating, seating, drinking water, sanitary facilities, etc.

Safe methods for sorting, handling and transportation of goods and substances.

Providing such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure efficient and safe working, environment in compliance with national legislation and company rules.

Consultation with the employees, or their representatives with a view to making and maintaining adequate and effective arrangements for health welfare.

There can be no doubt that with correct and responsible attitudes toward safety, adequate procedures and the adoption of modern HSE management techniques, the incidence of injury and damage can be substantly reduced and efficiency improved. Management and employees must be constantly aware of their responsibilities and the need for, and the benefits of, well constructed and streamlined accident prevention program.
